Mentor Opportunities	ADMISSIONS For acceptance onto an LXU Master's programme, the minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. For acceptance onto a Doctor's programme, the minimum requirement is a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. In both cases the student must have the necessary commitment and capacity for independent study at the highest level. To be awarded a Master's degree the student must earn a minimum of 30 graduate credits and complete a dissertation or final project. To be awarded a Doctor's degree the student must earn a minimum of 45 further graduate credits and complete a more qualified dissertation or final project. Students must be proficient in written and spoken English, be computer literate, and for the duration of their studies have access to a computer, email and the Internet. LXU accepts graduate credits earned at other universities and can award Prior Learning credits for professional training and other high-level learning. See Prospectus .
