ACADEMIC STRUCTURE AND DEGREES
For the purpose of coursework schedules, the academic year of Life Expansion University is seemlessly divided into four quarters of three months each. Availability of mentor services is subject to an agreement between the student and the mentor, which allows for 2 - 4 periods a year of holidays, never to exceed a total of three months a year.
For the time being, only postgraduate programmes will be offered. These will be individually designed by each student in cooperation with the Senior Mentor of the field of study chosen.
The following degrees will be offered:
Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Arts (M.A.)
The normal time expected to complete a Masterīs degree is 2 years after completing a B.A. or corresponding level of credits.
Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
The normal time expected to complete a Doctorīs degree would be 3 years after completing a Masterīs degree. An advanced research project, documented in a dissertation, is required.
Even though we set a "normal" time for completing our degrees, corresponding to the fees charged and the mentorīs work schedule, there is no minimum, nor maximum time imposed. Each student may work at his or her individual pace and take tests and exams at his or her convenience. However, if a degree programme is delayed by more than three months, an additional quarterly fee will be charged until the programme is completed.
